I was born in Rimini (Italy) in 1989. In 2008 I moved to Bologna to attend the Faculty of Physics at the University “Alma Mater Studiorum” and I got the Master degree in 2013 (curricula of Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics). I am focused on Dark Matter detection, in particular with XENON project at “Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso” (LNGS). XENON100, in data taking, consists in a double phase direct detector which use Xenon as target for WIMPs, Dark Matter candidates . During the Bachelor thesis I extimated the event rate of interaction of WIMPs in XENON100. XENON1T is the upgrade, in phase of costruction. The external background will be reduced by a cilindric water tank and 84 photomultipliers (PMTs), that will be used as a passive shield and as Muon Veto. During the Master thesis I took part of the test of PMTs in Bologna (in air), then in LNGS (in water). I like animals, in particular dogs, horses and sea lions. I enjoy travelling, especially in a sea places.
