The scientific formation is focused on the data analysis for GW search, in the extraction of signal from noise, in particular the search of signal with limited duration and unknown waveform. This require a general type of analysis, extracting excesses of power in the noise and estimating the confidence of these excesses to be a GW candidate signal. The dedicated algorithms combine the data in the stream to the probability to satisfy the GW properties, assuming they are coming from one of the possible locations in the sky. This require to scan the directions in the sky with the largest possible density in a limited computational time, so it is necessary to use algorithms which can be adapted to parallel computing software. I contributed to the pioneering studies of the characterization of source localization performances of the algorithms for transient search. Hobbies: Playing piano, fantasy book writer
