RAGAZZI Stefano

Professor at the University of Milan Bicocca and director of Gran Sasso National Laboratory.

Stefano Ragazzi began his scientific activity in neutrino physics in the underground laboratory of Monte Bianco. Developing his activity in high energy physics with the coordination responsibility of different research groups at the European laboratory for nuclear research (CERN) in Geneva, particularly devoted to the realisation of calorimeters for the CMS experiment, one of the two apparatuses which observed the Higgs boson.

Stefano Ragazzi published more then 400 papers in international refereed journals.
