I studied Physics at the University of Mlano-Bicocca (Milan). I first earned the bachelor degree in 2011. The topic of my thesis was the indirect detection of Cold Dark Matter with the Spectometer AMS-II and, in particular, I focused on the study of the antiproton flux. During the master degree I chose to specialize into particle physics. The thesis work focused on the problem of background due to material surface contamination for experiments based on bolometers. In particular, I helped to build up an experimental set up (bolometric detector) to test some Si and Ge slabs in the University Cryogenics Laboratory. These could be used both as light detectors for scintillating bolometers and with diagnostic function for the surface background study. During the thesis period I also spent some days at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso working on the CUORE Experiment, a huge bolometric experiment, today under construction, whose aim will be the observation of the Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay. This proved to be a beautiful experience, not only from the academic point of view, but also because it mad me appreciate the possibility to join a real scientific collaboration. My research interest today regards neutrino physics and the study of its properties by the use of bolometeric detectors.
