I am an urban planner and I studied at Sapienza University of Rome; I earned a Bachelor Degree in "Urban Planning and GIS" (2003-2006) with a thesis on participative urban design in Istanbul and the problems of local communities, resulted from a three-month internship in the Turkish city. I completed my Master of Science in "Land and Environmental Planning" (2006-2009) with a thesis focused on living in contemporary cities, in particular in Rome's suburbs. After my degree and license, I worked as freelance in an atelier, involved in different projects and competitions about architecture, urban planning, environmental impact assessments. From 2011 I was awarded three scholarships for contributing to the editing of post-earthquake reconstruction plans designed by the Faculty of Architecture of Rome for four small towns in Abruzzo. Starting from this experience, I developed a strong interest about the relationship between urban and landscape design, resilience and risk reduction. I also worked as researcher and teaching assistant in urban renewal and sustainable mobility. Both my studies and my research activities were strongly multidisciplinary, influencing positively my way of thinking, studying and working. I love travelling, and I have a great passion for literature and arts.
