Abstract: I will describe the structure and phenomenology of the hyppocampus, the complex interplay among the Enthorinal Cortex, CA3 neurons, interneurons etc.
I will show the basic principles underying the evolution equations and their correspondence with the phenomenology of the spiking activity of the neuron system.
Finally I will show how information is stored and retrieved in the hyppocampus, and how it is possible to simulate Alzheimer and the possible therapies using CREB protein.
