We consider a system of two coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations in one dimension. We prove the existence of solutions behaving at large time as a couple of scalar solitary waves. The proof relies on a method introduced by Martel and Merle for multi solitary waves for the scalar Schrödinger equation. Finally, we present some numerical simulations to understand more the qualitative behavior of the solitary waves.
