The DarkSide Collaboration will hold its General Meeting at GSSI, February 20-24, 2017. In the first two days, technical talks will cover ongoing operations and WIMP search with DarkSide-50 prototype detector at LNGS. The last three days will be dedicated to the bootstrap of DarkSide-20k, the most ambitious dark matter search program on the books. The success of DarkSide-20k requires the development and exploitation of novel technologies for argon purification, for production of silicon-based photosensors, and for the production of ultra-clean materials, with an important broader impact on local industries and on application of these technologies in the medical field.
